Comment: Great idea George! We've already got wind of it over here, I'll send some photos and a bit of a yarn. It is where it all started for me so its nice to see something like this. Una

Comment: Hi George & Maureen. Best wishes to you both. New site makes interesting and informative reading and adds to all the good times that i have with all you guys north of the border @ the venues that i have attended. Always makes the drive from Crewe worthwhile but the wallet lighter. lol.Regards and respect to you all, friends new and old. Paul.
Comment: Hi great interesting site dont know if you are aware we are having a soul night at Cambusbarron S.C. on 21st March to commemorate George Bolton gonna be good
Comment: Love the website! There's alot of good work up here. I present a soul/funk/disco show on Subcity Radio, Glasgow and wondered if any DJs would like to send me any mixes to play on my show. Also if there's any club nights happening I can plug them on-air. Keep the faith!!
Comment: Hi - came across the website by accident 7 saw a few names I recognise from the 70s & 80s - remembering days at the 'East of Scotland Soul Club' (Grosvener EDI) fondly with visits from many of the main record label A&R men + of course radio Forth DJs who had just started up (even Bay City Rollers visited)& did their first outside broadcast from my decks in the KinemaBallroom another of my residencies -- still got all of my vynl inc. Mr Hyslop's 'Troglydite' & still into music (but flying aeroplanes & selling cars to survive now) -- All the very best to the old faces & the site - Cheers Ronnie
